Ijeoma Desmond-Ugwudi,born as the
third out of 6 children hails from Imo State. A Bachelor of Medical Laboratory
Science (BMLS) degree holder. Aijay is a practicing Laboratory Scientist who
started singing at a very tender age in the children’s choir of her home church
in Owerri where she grew up.
She took her first “major’’ solo at the Owerri
Christian Youth Forum Mass Choir concert in 1996. She has recorded hit songs - 'Na You Sabi',
'Chegharia (Repent)' , 'Ebubedike' with Kerruzzo Entertainment which received
massive air play on the radio and TV stations in 2006- 2008. Aijay sees herself
as a servant who is constantly in search of her Master’s heart.
She believes we were all created for
a purpose and as she has found hers, one of which is to tell the world about
the love of Jesus through her songs.
