For all Christians that are familiar with their Bibles, do you remember the story of the 10 virgins, the ones that were going to meet the groom, I'm sure you do. According to that passage, 5 of them were fully prepared, they took extra oil with them. The other 5 didn't take extra oil so, their light went down while waiting for the groom. I am sorry for the digression, not here to preach actually, just trying to buttress my point.
Preparation is defined as the level of readiness or the state of making something ready for use. Preparation is very essential or necessary for anybody who wants success. Success doesn't just come like a sachet of water, it has to be prepared for. The ones who don't prepare for it settle for anything that comes their way.
Zig Ziglar said 'You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win'.
Ask any winner at competitions how long he or she practiced or prepared. Ask a student who is starting exam soon how long he has been preparing. You cannot underestimate the power of preparation, it is an essential key to success.
Benjamin Disraeli quoted 'The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes'. Now, the big question is, How prepared are you?
Preparation is key for any great individual, it cannot be taken for granted. Tim Fargo said 'Opportunity doesn't make appointments, you have to be ready when it arrives'. So many people have lost it because of lack of preparation. My mother is a minister, whenever they call her for ministration, I know how hard she prepares, she doesn't joke with preparation.
