According to Charly-C, the inspiration came on a cold Sunday afternoon somewhere in Europe,
“I had gotten to church earlier at noon. My friend Dapo was on his guitar doing some freestyle, the chords he played seemed so pleasant in the ears, suddenly the inspiration for ogakpatakpata stepped in & my lips began to sing. The song hails God as the highest boss one can ever have.”
