Project Fame Alumnus, John Ighodaro better known as Johnny Drille has been gradually playing his way into the hearts of music lovers especially of the alternative genre. He continues a fine run this year after releasing his Afro-country Christian song ‘Love Don’t Lie’.
He brings to us an amazing Indie-folk/Afro-country flavoured love song, ‘Wait For Me’ that tells a love story in its most heart wrenching yet subtle form drenched in music that takes a whole new perspective and meaning.
“As I stayed up all night in my bedroom studio listening to the finished ‘Wait For Me’, I soon realized it was my most emotional song yet. It meant much more to me, it was an experience. For those of us who have had to leave loved ones behind, not sure of what the future was going to bring, ‘Wait For Me’ tells that story.
