About Folu Moses
Folu Moses, affectionately known as “Mummy Mo,” is a Nigerian American Singer who is a distinguished figure in the refined realm of music. Originating from Nigeria, this septuagenarian has graced choirs and musical stages for over 50 years.
In 1971, on Valentine’s Day, she embarked on a journey to the United States, where her life unfolded as a devoted wife, mother of nine, and a graduate with a BA in Accounting.
Her story takes a poignant turn with the loss of her daughter Funke in 2017 and son Jimi in 2019. Yet, Mummy Mo’s indomitable spirit found solace in composing, resulting in an album that speaks to the timeless power of music and resilience in the face of adversity.
Today, as an Assistant Pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victory Temple in Raleigh, NC, she continues to inspire with her grace and musical artistry.
